Ann Arbor Summer Outreach

Hi, my name is James Schnelbach. I am a junior Christian Studies major at Truett McConnell University. With my degree I am hoping to work for a Christian non-profit and with this summer being my last summer before graduation I am trying to make the most of it. Fortunately, I was recently accepted to be part of GenSend. If you don't know what GenSend is, it is a program through the North American Missions Board that sends college students to church plants in US or Canadian cities. During their time there, they work alongside the church plant to be a part of community outreach. The city I was accepted to was Ann Arbor, Michigan. Ironically, Ann Arbor was the city I was born in, and although I have lived in Georgia most of my life, I am excited to spend the summer back in Michigan. If you don't know much about Ann Arbor, it is a city located about 45 minutes southwest of Detroit and is home to the University of Michigan. It is a very progressive city where the majority of the population identify as irreligious. The need for the Gospel is great and with your support I can be a part of spreading God's Word in this community. Thank you!
