About this campaign

Tricia has been volunteering at Community House Damaris since January 2016. She works as a counselor and as a psycho-educational teacher in their Day Program. As a US citizen, she cannot get paid for this work in a foreign country, so she relies upon fundraising through the mission organization Greater Europe Mission.

Community House Damaris is a Greek non-profit organization offering long-term recovery to women who have been sexually exploited and trafficked. By offering both a non-disclosed location to safely live and a Day Program that covers topics such as budgeting, parenting, anger management, and self-esteem, Community House Damaris invests deeply in its participants. Our women graduate from the program when they have a safe place to live on their own and a crime-free job. We hope that many of our graduates will choose to stay with us as leaders for the next generation of participants.
