About this campaign

This fundraiser will help us continue to raise money to help our LGBTQ+ commUnity in East Tennessee. We strive to empower, support, and connect our LGBTQ+ communities through helping those of us who are in need with bills, housing, crises, homelessness, advocacy, education to increase awareness, and safety.

We are a non-profit, founded in 2019, with an active and involved board of volunteers whohttps://appalachianoutreach.org/:
Empowers the LGBTQ+ movement through providing educational and training programs, advocacy efforts among systems that historically oppress us, and strengthen areas of freedom for living, life, and health;
Supports our LGBTQ+ community through providing crisis help in the form of paying bills and shelter costs, coordination of and paying for LGBTQ+ people to get to safety, and providing food, clothing, and resources for assistance;
Connects our LGBTQ+ community through strengthening and growing organizational relationships through collaborations.
