About our designer: Former Staff Sergeant Tim Villa

In honor of the t-shirts US Military origins, and the 100th birthday of the t-shirt, CustomInk is hosting a series of monthly t-shirt fundraisers for each branch of the United States Armed Forces. This month's branch is the US Army.

CustomInk will donate 100% of our profit (at least $10 per shirt) to benefit the Yellow Ribbon Fund, which supports recovering veterans and their families at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

This premium American Apparel shirt is made in the USA and is available in Youth, Ladies and Unisex sizes. Sizing Tip: Style runs small, you may want to consider sizing up. Ladies, please note the girly fit.

Tim Villa, from Simi Valley, CA, has over ten years of Federal service, with over eight years as an infantryman. His assignments highlights include a deployment in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM and as an escort NCO for the Office of the Chief of Legislative Liaison. In that position, he traveled to over 20 countries with over 50 Members and Staff of Congress. Following his military service, he stayed in the Legislative Liaison's office as an army civilian. Over that time, he also started his own graphic design LLC, IronsightDesign, which he still runs today. 1

About The Yellow Ribbon Fund

The military provides world-class care while injured service members are in the hospital. But sometimes gaps open up between the support the military can provide, and the support the injured and their families need.

The Yellow Ribbon Fund helps bridge the gaps while they’re recovering in the Washington, DC, area at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and Fort Belvoir Community Hospital.

Even after they return to their hometowns, YRF continues to help.

The Yellow Ribbon Fund has not-for-profit status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
