About this campaign
The Alliance for Media Arts + Culture is 40 this year! Help us REFLECT and CELEBRATE with a contribution to the Arts2Work program. Responding to systemic inequities reflected in the harsh and persistent glare of #oscarssowhite and the #metoo movement, the Alliance for Media Arts + Culture decided to take on the development of this breakthrough program — not only as the first federally-approved jobs program for storytellers, but as a foundation for cultural transformation in an industry where power is held predominantly by white men, and the contributions of black, brown and native artists and women are persistently marginalized, excluded and appropriated. YOU buy a sweatshirt and WE put 100% of funds raised into the Arts2Work Accelerator fund, supporting scholarships for BIPOC media makers, Equity Labs for creative employers, and funding for BIPOC-owned creative startups.
Now more than ever is a time to REFLECT on the power of artists to inspire change, hope and healing and TAKE ACTION to nurture our next generation.
