The Rainforest Trust has been protecting rainforests and supporting indigenous communities for over 30 years. One of their top priorities is the conservation of the Amazon Rain Forest which despite its critical importance locally and globally, is under imminent threat of deforestation, primarily from slash-and-burn agricultural practices which have already destroyed 20% of the region.
