About this campaign

The American Society for the Protection of Nature INC “ASPN” a 501 (C) Not for Profit Organization hopes to create a place for children to experience the outdoors in an environment they may not have access to during the rest of the year. The ASPN believes that all kids deserve a holiday at summer camp, no matter their race, medical necessity, color, creed, religion, national origin, age, gender, or of no matter the financial restraints of their families.

We are in the fundraising stage. We have been working on this plan, since we were established in 2011 as a NYS Corporation. We plan on establishing this camp within the next year in the Adirondack Mountains in upstate New York. This will be the first of four Nationwide planned camps. Our Coed Camp will have five primary goals for our campers. We hope the campers will have fun, improve athletic, artistic and intellectual skills, gain independence, make friends and develop social skills, while learning to take care of the environment.

Please help us continue our work as your generous, gift today will play a vital role in helping us to train the youth of today, and of distant tomorrows to become wilderness stewards of the 21st century.

My years at camp were a gift from my father that I am thrilled to pass along to children. ASPN is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Your contribution is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
