hello, my name is allexis but my friends and family call me lexi. im 22 years old and this charity means a lot to me, when i was just a kid my mom knew i was different but couldnt really figure out how. ive had so many tests done at this point everything became normal. having to go to another doctor was just like any other day, but when i was 16 my mom took me to a doctor and it was finally the last.. he diagnosed me with autism on the high end of it, i was so happy when we got the diagnosis but, with any good news theres bad right....my mom had to ask what that means for her and what it means for me to... it meant shed have to help me do a lot of things in life, driving, getting a job, living on my own. it was a struggle learning with this new thing and making it our life. Having autism always is a struggle for me because i hate change and it freaks me out when anyone changes anything inmy routine but, i also hate loud noises so at hockey games i need special headphones, at football games the same thing.. we try and avoid laces where we have to accommodate for me bc some people cant help, we try not going to derbys, or monster truck racees and unfortunately even concerts. this has been my life and i wont say i love it but i dont hate it either,its just been an adjustment. everyone's life has that but i guess u can say its just been a little harder for us then what people call normal familes.. i have a kind heart i love helping animals, and the homeless but i csnt always so 1 night really late i thought id check my email amd there it was autism awareness from custom ink. so i laid in bed and i started creating these custom shirts for yall. i really hope you like them. this is my story and it may sound similar but evrerybody's story is different there is not one thats the same!
