AVM Awareness

On March 25, 2024, our center was forever changed by news no one is ever prepared to hear. We lost a sweet little girl from our Honeybee room, who passed away suddenly at the hospital due to an Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM).

Although two years have passed since her loss, her presence is still deeply felt within our walls and in our hearts. She will always be a part of our center’s story.

On May 2nd, we will be coming together for a walk around Hamel Park to honor her beautiful life and the love she brought to so many. In her memory, we will also be hosting a fundraiser with the sale of AVM awareness shirts. All proceeds will be donated directly to AVM research, in hopes of helping other families in the future.

We invite you to join us as we remember and celebrate this precious little girl, whose light continues to shine through all of us.
