Begin Again Horse Rescue is a 501c3 federally registered charity established in 2009 by a small group of friends who wanted to make a bigger difference than they could do individually. BAHR was born and has evolved into a respected organization, accredited with the GFAS, Mentor status with the Equus Foundation, Platinum Guidestar rating on Candid.com, and annually inspected and approved by the AAEP.
All these accolades are due to the high level of ethics we strive to achieve in the care of our equines, the protocols of the organization, and in our commitment to the health and happiness of each horse mule or donkey for life.
