About this campaign

Truthfully, mental health hasn’t always been something that I’ve always thought about or given complete attention to for most of my life. It was almost taboo growing up to talk about mental illness. As I got older, I started to realize how important it is to honor your mental state and find balance in the chaos of our worlds. Mental health is just as, if not more, important as other aspects of health.

Through this campaign, I hope to bring awareness to normalizing talking about and getting help for mental health issues. The symbols represent the four classical elements: fire, earth, air, and water. The semicolon represents suicide prevention and awareness. The combination of the two is a tattoo that I personally have to remind me that chaos balances itself out, you just have to continue on.

All proceeds from t-shirt sales will be donated to the Austin Justice Coalition. The Austin Justice Coalition is a Racial Justice Group that educates and builds community power for people of color who live in Austin, Texas that need support, community, and liberation during a time of systemic injustice in America.

Mental health is something I've battled with since I was an adolescent. During that time, it was not really talked about. I love that mental health awareness has taken off because it is important.

As someone who has gone through the struggles of mental illness (Anxiety & Depression), it's important to continue breaking the stigma & normalize taking care of your mental health. I see you out there homie, appreciate you Jin!
