About this campaign
In Bengali culture, every autumn, Durga Puja is considered the time when "Maa comes home." She arrives with her children, Saraswati, Ganesha, Kartik, and Lakshmi, and brings wisdom, prosperity, courage, creativity, and joy. This year, we imagined them a little differently: suitcases in hand, dressed for the modern world, but carrying the symbols and traditions that connect them to generations before us.
Our “Welcome Home Maa” T-shirt celebrates that beautiful duality of being Bengali in a new generation: carrying our culture with us wherever we go, while making it our own.Every shirt helps Banga NextGen create opportunities for the next generation of Bengali Americans to connect with their culture, build community, and carry our heritage forward in new ways.
