About this campaign

This campaign is about giving the people opportunity to let the world know that we are rare individuals. Whether it's waking up everyday  to go to school, work, or to instill knowledge into the minds of others you are a rare individual. The term rare means much more than just being the only person in the room who doesn't act like others, but leading by the example for others. It means to strive for excellence in anything one does so that those who observe and learn know what it is looks like when setting the bar for success and not accepting mediocre. It also means to be vessel for change, often observing the society we live in today, and being proactive in bettering our communities in a major way. In this day and age, the world needs more people like you who act these words into existence so that others may see that we don't have to subdue to being average or not progressing from where we were the day before. By purchasing this shirt, you as model citizen take the pledge to turn the irregular into the regular and striving to be the change everyday. By wearing this shirt, your embracing  your story in which you write every single day when you step out of the door every morning. Be the change. Be a giver of knowledge. Be a vessel of change. Be yourself.Be the director of your movie. Most importantly, BE RARE!

I am a 20 year old college student who is working to further my collegiate career as a college football athlete in San Diego, California at Palomar College. Not only do I use the love of the game to satisfy my needs as an athlete, but as a gateway to reach out to others in a positive, and impacting way. Whher it is on a spiritual, educational, mentoring, or community outreach level I put my heart into being a vessel for my peers around me. I feel as though it takes a village to raise a child, and it is not only a parents obligation, but young men and women like myself as well because we have the ability to relate and reason with our younger peers in a way some elders cannot. I think that I live a Rare yet unique lifestyle because I've been a survivor since the day I was born. I am rated R. I am rare. DMV 2 California June 2016
