Beagle Freedom Project Fundraiser

Beagle Freedom Project (BFP) was formed to negotiate with laboratories to legally rescue, rehabilitate, and find loving homes for animals that were used for drug and product testing. Beagles are the preferred choice of laboratories because of their sweet, gentle, forgiving nature. BFP provides these rescued animals with veterinary care, transportation, initial foster homes and then placement in the perfect permanent home. To date BFP has rescued over 200 animals including dogs, cats, ponies, rabbits & pigs.

Without Beagle Freedom Project these animals would be used for experiments & then killed & tossed away never knowing life, never seeing the sun, never feeling grass under their paws, never knowing or feeling love. They aren’t even given names, they are known only by their federal id # that is tattooed in one of their ears. These animals are just like the ones we live with, the ones we share our homes with & consider part of our families. They all deserve a chance to love & be loved.

Beagle Freedom Project is very active & has volunteers all over the United States. They presented the Beagle Freedom Bill, the legislation that would mandate dogs & cats be given a chance at a home life after labs are done with them instead of being euthanized. In May 2014 the Beagle Freedom Bill made history when it became the Beagle Freedom Law in Minnesota! BFP plans on presenting this bill in EVERY state.

Please support this great animal rescue non-profit so they can continue to rescue animals from very cruel & unnecessary testing. Testing for cosmetics & house hold products is NOT required by law in ANY state in the USA.
