About this campaign
It is very sad to see beagle after beagle come into our program and test positive for tick borne disease-- but to date since we started using IFA Serology testing, we are 100% for beagle with at least Lyme disease and co infections. We knew we were dealing with a lot of illness in our birddog population but beagles are hunting dogs too and of course completely at risk. Bobby has his own Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/BobbytheBrave/?fref=ts and his story started out so sadly-- but his foster mom is amazing having adopted https://www.facebook.com/IBRsBeckiBeagle/?fref=ts We got thousands invested in the testing and treatment of these dogs but 2 of our girls need extra fundraising. Hazelnut just recovered from lung worm and like her daughter Peanut-- is fighting Lyme disease and Rocky Mountain spotted fever. Hazel also needs surgery to repair a hernia which is causing a HUGE bump in her abdomen. The estimate for that is $800- $1000 . We also need to do a dental and a skin tag surgery on Miss Honey.
