About this campaign

Buy a lymphoma awareness t-shirt to support a friend in need. Sherry Hempton was diagnosed with CNS lymphoma. The great news is that she is responding to the aggressive treatment. The not so great news is that the medical bills are costly. Let's help her out!

Sherry Hempton is a strong and courageous woman: a role model to many. She has two wonderful children and 4 grand babies ages 9 months to 13 years old. She ran a daycare out of her home with her daughter for 17 years. To those daycare kids she is known as "Aunt Sherry". She also enjoyed projects like woodwork, stained glass, and even ran a salon out of her home for several years.

On Christmas day in 2010 she lost her husband, and two months later she was diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. After a difficult battle, she eventually beat the cancer and was in remission for almost 3 years. Early April 2014, Sherry started having troubling symptoms that landed her at the University of Michigan hospital in Ann Arbor. There they found cancer in her spinal fluid and she was soon after diagnosed with Central Nervous System Lymphoma. After having several tests and multiple ports put in she started an aggressive treatment of chemo therapy. After only 2 months of treatment her spinal fluid shows no definite signs of cancer. She is still undergoing the treatment and tests, and while we are all very grateful that things are looking up we can't ignore the expenses that accompany these kinds of treatments.
Please help us support Sherry, both financially and spiritually, by buying a lymphoma awareness t-shirt. If you're not interested in the t-shirt but would still like to make a donation you have that option as well! Even if you don't know Sherry personally there were over 700,000 people living with lymphoma or in remission in 2013. Helping just one of those people makes a difference. Thank you so much for your support! For more information about lymphoma visit any of the sites below:
