About this campaign

Beers With Benefits is a new fundraising initiative with a mission to raise awareness and funds for non-profit organizations in Starr Hill Brewery’s home state of Virginia.

Starting January 2018, Starr Hill will partner with a different local charitable group every three months and donate 25¢ for every case of beer sold in Virginia of their top three flagship brands: Northern Lights IPA, Grateful Pale Ale, and The Love Wheat Beer.

April-June 2018 supports Friends of the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Join us in raising additional support by purchasing an exclusive "Beer With Benefits" t-shirt to spread the love about the great work non-profit organizations like FRIENDS do for the Commonwealth.

The mission of FRIENDS of the Blue Ridge Parkway is to help preserve, promote and enhance the outstanding natural beauty, ecological vitality and cultural distinctiveness of the Blue Ridge Parkway and its corridor for future generations. We are a nonprofit partner of the National Park Service- Blue Ridge Parkway.

Spread along all 469 miles of the Parkway, our unique mix of members and volunteers seek to perform an invaluable service to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Members of FRIENDS financially support Parkway work and NPS programs, special projects, and events. FRIENDS Chapters are community-based organizations that empower and coordinate volunteers, projects, and events in their local areas.

Born in a Charlottesville music hall in 1999, Starr Hill is an independent, regional craft brewery founded out of a passion for great beer and live music. Among the most award-winning craft breweries on the East Coast, Starr Hill has won 22 Great American Beer Festival, World Beer Cup and Great British Beer Festival medals.
