About this campaign

We wear these shirts in honor of our friends and family members who have faced a cancer diagnosis. This year we chose to incorporate a tree which is often thought to be a symbol of strength (trunk), healing (leaves), and sustenance and livelihood (branches). "Be good. Be strong." has been our family's way to raise awareness about the impact cancer can have on families and individuals, and to raise valuable funds for innovative research necessary to find a cure.

For the eighth year, I will be running the Boston Marathon to help raise important and necessary funds for innovative cancer research. I run because I believe: I believe the research conducted as a result of the support of this cause is moving cancer care forward; I believe it provides hope which keeps US moving forward; I believe that togethr we caaccompish BIG thins; I believe we ae mking diffeene.
