It Takes a Village. We all know by now that over 1.5 Million companion animals are euthanized each year. Statistically we have improved over the years, yet we are still trying to tackle the desperate journey of saving animals. There are 3,500 brick and mortar animal shelters across the United States and more than10,000 rescue groups. Each of them hard at work saving all they can. those that are dealing with the unfortunate cases that they were too late for. Walking through the rabble of society to reach out to that one animal that needs assistance.. Here at New Beginnings and Forever Homes, we have our animals in foster homes rather than sheltering them in cages, this way we can learn about their needs while in a home environment.. We believe in compassion and respect for all life. We know that we cannot save them all, but we can love, nurture and respect those that are in our care. Our fundraiser is for the veterinary care animals will need as they enter our foster system. Yearly veterinary care for the older, diabetic, and young ones that need altering, special need ones will need more care then others. All this can be frightfully expensive.
