About this campaign

Best Buddies International is a nonprofit organization. It consists of volunteers that create opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The programs main purpose is to allow volunteers to be paired up with a buddy with a disability and provide them with a friend or a mentor.

Best Buddies has helped shape my life, and many of those in my chapter. We are based at Woodland Regional High School in Connecticut. Our program has helped people with IDD in my high school and community with the power of friendship and inclusion. This is my final year at Woodland, and I decided my senior project would be a Best Buddies Prom. Now I am a dedicated person, so I want this prom to be as marvelous and extravagant as any other. These kids deserve the world, and I am going to do my very best to make this experience, one that they will never forget. So, please help myself and these kids have an amazing prom!
