About this campaign
OK Fans, we have a HUGE purchase and we are hoping that this Booster will help us with at least a down payment.
We
are growing at an exponential rate and in the long run we really need
to get our own vehicle to get our dogs to their forever homes. It is
just what makes the most financial sense for us. So, we are taking a
leap of faith and making this happen, We are looking to purchase a
large, reliable van which will likely cost us around $50,000.

We value dogs of all breeds, but we specialize in what the name says: big, fluffy dogs. We have volunteers in several states in the South and New England who work to help homeless big fluffy dogs find a home to call their own. Big Fluffy Dog Rescue works to save Great Pyrenees, Saint Bernards, Newfoundlands and their mixes from euthanasia.
Our dogs come in to rescue for many different reasons. Many were abandoned at high kill shelters in the South. Some were turned in by owners who could not properly care for them and still others are failed livestock guardian dogs. Regardless of their origins, our goal for every dog we have is the same: a safe, happy home where each dog is a well-loved member of the family. Big Fluffy Dog Rescue has its headquarters in Nashville, Tennessee. We have volunteers in several states in the South and across New England.

Because they gave me a way to give back and helped me find the missing family member we didn't know we needed until he became our FOSTER FAIL!!! XO BFDR!
Back in the 1980"s I had a friend that worked for DCS (DSS) and when they went to a home and had to remove the children they had no place to put the animals that were being abused. I opened my home and worked with the animals until they went home.
BFDR is the best! I can attest to that personally cause I am a foster-failure!
