Help Support big Fluffy dog Big Fluffy Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to helping giant breed mixed breed dogs in need.We value dogs of all breeds, but we specialize in what the name says: big, fluffy dogs. We have volunteers in several states in the South and New England who work to help homeless big fluffy dogs find a home to call their own. Big Fluffy Dog Rescue works to save Great Pyrenees, Saint Bernards, Newfoundlands and their mixes from euthanasia.
KURT
Kurt is a doberman pinscher. This is not one of the breeds we typically handle, but it seems that Kurt's owner went to jail and no one thought to check on the dog. Kurt weighed 60 pounds when he came in, nearly half what he should for his size. Kurt was hospitalized as he was incredibly weak and dehydrated in addition to being emaciated. He had a very long road to recovery ahead of him, but as many of our dogs are, is now happily adopted.
BUTLER
Butler is another dog on the sadly long lists of dogs who came out of the horrible shelter situation in Magnolia, AR last summer. The after photo was taken two months later and his eyes were still sad and tired in the photo, but it was encouraging that he handed his paw over to a total stranger as if to say "I trust you".
