About this campaign
Sometimes,
fans, we get unexpected gifts. For the first time in recorded BFDR
history, we have been willed dogs by someone who died. Elise and her
puppies were very well cared for by their owner, and now, they
along with a few other dogs, are in our care. Amusingly, there is
nothing big or fluffy about these babies, but we are all smitten by
them. So let's all say hello to Elise and her six four-week old jack
russell terrier/meerkat babies: Elizabeth, Eileen, Everly, Evanston,
Elaina and Easton. Sometime after the first of the year, we're going to
have a batch of tiny honorary fluffies looking for a home.
For
now, we need to get them vetted and keep them healthy and that costs
money. By purchasing a tote you are supporting one of these puppies, who
could probably fit in that new tote of yours :)
Please disregard the delivery date in your receipt. It may take up to 20 days to receive your item, after the campaign closes on November 30th, but you'll have them in time for the holidays!
We value dogs of all breeds, but we specialize in what the name says: big, fluffy dogs. We have volunteers in several states in the South and New England who work to help homeless big fluffy dogs find a home to call their own. Big Fluffy Dog Rescue works to save Great Pyrenees, Saint Bernards, Newfoundlands and their mixes from euthanasia.
Our dogs come in to rescue for many different reasons. Many were abandoned at high kill shelters in the South. Some were turned in by owners who could not properly care for them and still others are failed livestock guardian dogs. Regardless of their origins, our goal for every dog we have is the same: a safe, happy home where each dog is a well-loved member of the family. Big Fluffy Dog Rescue has its headquarters in Nashville, Tennessee. We have volunteers in several states in the South and across New England.

I bought one for a friend who adopted 2 big fluffy dogs & one for my not so big fluffy that I adopted. BFDR did not leave her behind!
Because I got an awesome fur baby from BFDR and the work they do is awesome. And Bruin needs his own overnight bag for when we go to camp and his big pool.
