About this campaign

Every year, hundreds of thousands of military families relocate to new duty stations. Moving is stressful, expensive, and exhausting. Now with COVID-19, it's even more challenging.

So, what do those military families need most? Their Blue Star Neighbors.

Blue Star Neighbors are dedicated to furthering the 11-year mission of Blue Star Families: empowering military families to thrive by giving them the support and resources they need most.

Let new-to-the-neighborhood (and even not-so-new) military families know you're a neighbor they can count on by proudly displaying this Blue Star Families banner in your yard!

These banners are more than a conversation starter. Plus, a portion of the proceeds will be donated directly to Blue Star Families for the following purposes:
- Providing enriching family programs to military families across the country
- Helping military spouses achieve their career goals
- Conducting critical research on the military family lifestyle and developing real solutions

The families of our All-Volunteer Force make unprecedented sacrifices these days to serve our country. In 2009, Blue Star Families was founded by military spouses to empower these families to thrive as they serve. We're committed to strengthening military families by connecting them with their neighbors – individuals and organizations – to create vibrant communities of mutual support. We believe we're all stronger when we take care of one another.

Our groundbreaking research is raising the nation's awareness of the unique challenges of military family life. Thanks to the help of neighbors and partnerships across the country, Blue Star Families is overcoming the isolation and alienation of frequent moves, deployments, and reduced government support. Our innovative programs are solving specific challenges for military families, including fighting economic insecurity with resources that foster spouse career development, creating family strength with rich programming, and providing critical peer support for caregivers, whose numbers are only increasing.

With more than 150,000 members in our network, including in Chapters nationwide, Blue Star Families touches more than 1.5 million military family members every year. We can ensure that wherever American military families go, they always feel connected, supported, and empowered to thrive – in every community, across the nation, and around the globe.
