About this campaign

Proceeds from this fundraiser go to support the Friends of Rachel (FOR) club at Blythewood Middle School. The goal of FOR is to encourage empathy and acts of kindness in the home, school, and community. We would like to sell 200 t-shirts to raise funds for club supplies for the year and so that club members may purchase t-shirts at a reduced price (or free).

Rachel’s Challenge is a program created to equip and inspire individuals to replace acts of violence, bullying, and negativity with acts of respect, kindness, and compassion. The program is based on the life and writings of Rachel Joy Scott who was the first victim of the Columbine school shootings in 1999. Blythewood Middle School is the first in Columbia to begin implementation of this program. Kickoff is on October 12th at 5pm at a community event at the school, which includes t-shirt sales, food trucks, a silent auction with $8,000 in items, a raffle with over $1,000 in items, and a fantastic presentation planned by the Rachel's Challenge staff. Contact BMSPTO@yahoo.com with any questions.
