When a close family member was diagnosed with AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia) and found out it is the rapid kind, I did my research for a cure. I found out that a person who is of 50years or older diagnosed with AML has 20% chance of remission. This got me thinking about those with the disease. I started talking to those on line and in person just to find out that there are many out there that would like those numbers to rise more. Who would like to see their chances of living slip down when/after being diagnosed with AML? Nobody, So we put this together as a way to raise funds for better research for a cure for AML.
