As a light-skinned half-black man I have little capacity to comprehend the fear and anxiety that would haunt my daily life if I leaned more towards my black birth father's gene pool. While they are unique, the horrific recent events are NOT unfamiliar to our darker-skinned brothers and sisters. We must all stand as one now. We have to change the education of racism from the top, down. We must VOTE. VOTE. VOTE.
