About this campaign
My daughters drowning motivated me to start Bria's House, an organization devoted to the teaching of water safety. I share my story all over the Houston area with the hopes of saving just one life. To date we have provided swimming lessons for 14 families and 40 kids. I am 10 kids away from my goal of 50.
In May of 2005 my family and I suffered a major loss. The loss of my daughter Bria, my daughter was one of 33 kids that drowned in the summer of 2005. Watching the news day in and day out I saw how frequently drowning occurred and I felt the need to do something about these preventable deaths.
