Brooklynn began having seizures at just 2 months old on Easter Sunday. We received her diagnosis of CDKL5 at 9 months of age. Most diagnosed with CDKL5 cannot walk, talk or feed themselves. They are dependent on others their entire lives. We are currently in the process of raising money to get Brooklynn a seizure alert service dog. We've purchased the puppy and named her Bernie. She has been cleared by the vet and passed her evaluation. Bernie is currently in the "puppy management" stage and will soon be ready to start obedience training, then seizure alert training and finally getting certified as a service dog. We need your help because the training portion is very expensive and we cant do it alone.
