The Bullympics is a fundraising event to help fund the veterinary care that the rescued dogs need. It is held at a local park where a "Olympics" course designed for bulldogs is set up. The dogs and owners compete for nominal prizes. Also, a silent auction, bake sale, raffle, selling of dog related items and a BarBQ all help to raise funds at the event. Use: Donation will be used at the silent auction to raise funds for veterinary care for the dogs. Event theme: The theme is a mini Olympics for exercise challenged dogs! Bulldog owners come from all over the state as well as some out of state guests to participate in the event and enjoy the company of other bulldog owners. The goal is to have fun and help homeless dogs at the same time.
