About this campaign

We are extending our rehabilitation into a 1500 square foot building at our location where flight enclosures and a surgery will be added for the treatment and care of injured wild birds in our community. Good things happen when we all help! Birds are injured everyday...help all birds; including, songbirds, seabirds, hawks, eagles and owls with your donations to provide them with the care they need to recover and go back to their wild life.

IMG_6491jpgOur wild bird neighbors enhance our lives everyday. Bird watching is one of the most popular hobbies in the country and it is known to reduce stress. Being in nature is also an incredible way to feel better. Many of us visit our forests and spend time connecting with the natural world; yet, the impact people have on nature is not always good. Birds are effected by anthropogenic causes everyday. Discovery Bay Wild Bird Rescue is here to help injured and orphaned birds get a second chance. Please support our campaign to increase our capacity to facilitate the recovery of these birds.IMG_4127jpg
