Camp Wastahi - Campership and Program Fundraiser

Wastahi stands for “Water, Stars, and Hills”
Camp Wastahi is a non-denominational residential summer camp for kids aged 6-17. Founded by Camp Fire Girls at Big Basin State Park in 1925, it has been independently run by a group of dedicated volunteers since 2004. The long standing values about service, environmental appreciation, team work, leadership and fun remain ever-present in the program today.
One of the first things kids say when asked what they love about Wastahi is the food. Each day kids will enjoy three delicious meals and a snack, as well as have time to relax and write letters home during cabin time. Campers participate in fun-filled and exciting activities daily. They have the opportunity to learn a skill such as archery, dance, music, and drama; and participate in activities such as swimming, hiking, arts & crafts, and much much more! Fun morning and evening activities such as all-camp challenges, water carnival, and talent show, keep the kids active throughout the day. Campers also have the opportunity to sleep under the stars, hike and learn about nature, all while exercising their independence in a safe and closely supervised setting.
