CANGRANDS NATIONAL KINSHIP SUPPORT

CANGRANDS is a not-for-profit support group devoted to providing kinship support for caregiver families across Canada. Approximately 75,000 children are being raised by Kin in Canada. Most of these children are being raised by a grandmother or aunt who is retired with very low income. There is very little in the way of support for these children, many of which have sufferd neglectnd abuse. Thre is evenless support for the Kin caregivers. However, private and corporate donations are gladly accepted to help support children attending this year's camping event.

CANGRANDS welcomes all grandparents and Kinship families who are raising grandchildren or extended family members. Our aim is to support grandmothers, grandfathers, and Kinship families to maintain or re-establishing family ties.
