About this campaign

We (husband Rikki and myself) rescued Bones April 26 of 2013 and she's rescued us everyday since. At the time we owned a skating rink and she grew up with hundreds of kids to play with and a giant building to run around the floor after hours. She got us through our darkest days and for that we owe her everything. She has been our constant companion and her comfort and care is our highest priority. She has never met a stranger or another animal she didn't immediately love. She has never met a stuffed animal that wasn't to be cared for. She is the Goodest of Good Girls.

Bones began refusing food on April 10th and we got her into her regular Vet April 15. Nothing was concerning until the blood work revealed high calcium and the Vet suspected a mass or tumor. After ultrasound we were confident that we were dealing with a surgical issue but unfortunately the CT scans showed a mass in her chest and several in her neck. The diagnosis confirmed by biopsy is Lymphoma, specifically Multicentric intermediate/large cell Lymphoma stage 3b. We met with the oncologist and started chemo April 25th. The future cost of treatment is overwhelming but she deserves every chance we can give her. She is receiving her treatments with Dr Norquest at Care Center Cincinnati, Ohio.
