http://carala.org/ Companion Animal Rescue of Ascension (C.A.R.A) is a non-profit organization based in Ascension Parish Louisiana. Our volunteers have been rescuing independently or as members of other area rescue groups. The rate of the growth Ascension Parish, is experiencing, the need for the help with the communities’ homeless pet population is growing as well. So we formed for the purpose of rescuing at-risk companion animals from community and shelter settings, through rescue, foster and adoption programs. All of our adoptions include proper vaccinations, as well asspaying/neutering and microchippingof all animals. C.A.R.A has no paid staff and is powered entirely by dedicated volunteers. We are supported by private donations, our own fundraising efforts, and minimal adoption fees. All donations and funds received go directly towards saving animals. Be a part of something special!
