The USS Carney Family Readiness Group (Carney FRG) is a small community support organization operated in support of the crew and families of the USS Carney, currently stationed in Rota, Spain. Carney FRG is run entirely by spouse volunteers who give their time and energy to assist and encourage families, and keep everyone connected while the sailors are away for long periods of time. Family readiness groups are an integral part of a support network that provides morale-building social activities to military members and their families.
