Carysbrook Alumnae Association 2020 Holiday Fundraiser
The Camp Carysbrook Alumnae Association annual holiday fundraiser is here... and the first mid-year Green v. Brown and Blue v. Purple team meet!! Cure those winter and COVID camp blues by buying and wearing some exclusive Carysbrook gear, while also earning points for your team! All of the proceeds will support the Scholarship Fund, which helps girls experience Carysbrook, regardless of economic, racial, geographic, religious, ethnic or social background.
As mentioned above, this is our first ever mid-year Green v. Brown meet and we are excited for the friendly competition!!! So, how do you earn points for your team? Please provide the team you are on in "please share why you're supporting this campaign" box on the "buy" page. For every item you buy, you'll get an additional point for your team. And don't worry, we will also be tallying who is also leading between blue and purple. All hail! We are excited to update you every few days on who is leading the pack!
Some examples for tallying points for multiple members in your household:
- If you are making purchases for multiple campers and/or yourself, comment your camper teams! (ex. 1 parent/guardian and 2 children = 1 daughter brown team, 1 daughter green team, 1 parent/guardian blue team)
- If you are a Carysbrook alum making purchases for multiple campers, comment your team and your camper teams! (ex. 2 parents, 2 children = 1 mom green team, 1 dad blue team, 1 daughter green, 1 son blue team)
- If you were a counselor at any point, comment purple!
Additionally...we've heard all of the requests from parents-to-be and parents/guardians with young kids. We have awesome toddler and infant options this year for those future campers who are one day going to eat multiple s'mores at cabin night with their cabin mates. We also have a youth long sleeve t-shirt and an adult anorak jacket - the first ever of it's kind to be sold in the Carysbrook store! Looking forward to seeing these worn to breakfast on chilly summer mornings or to campfire on a crisp Saturday night. Lastly, sip on a cool or warm beverage with the stainless steel pint glass. These are perfect for keeping drinks hot or cold for a long time, whether you are in your house or out in the woods camping. They also make for a great cup to brush your teeth with in the G-House. We hope the quote allows you to close your eyes and think of memories from Saturday vespers at the lake :)
