About this campaign

Support the work of Javacya Arts Conservatory and its use of the arts as a tool to facilitate the development of high self-esteem and self discipline. Through the mastery of their musical talents, students develop an appreciation of the fine arts and a strong application of music theory, so that they can analyze and interpret the music that they perform.

Javacya is recognized for providing minority students the opportunity to perform many genres and receive a glimpse into a future life in the professional world of music. To expand this platform, Patrice Floyd (founder, conductor, violinist, and founding teacher for the Royal Conservatory of Music of Canada) has opened music conservatories in South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. Javacya’s mission includes preparing students and orchestra members alike to be comfortable and well-prepared for all future platforms. “Javacya has mentored hundreds of children and many fine students have entered the professional world of music,” said Floyd. “Our students and orchestra members are always striving for excellence.”Javacya Orchestrajpg
