Every day I wake up and my hands touch my two little girls, trying to paint a tangible image of what they look like. Everybody tells me how beautiful they are, and how much they look like me. I'd like the chance to see for myself.
I'd like to be able to share sunsets and sunrises with her, and discover the world with her as she asks me,
"Mommy, what's this? What's that?"
There are also frozen moments in time, such as their baby pictures, that I cannot touch or recreate--it would be such a privilege such moments that most people take for granted. Every day I often wonder what it would feel like to be able to go grocery shopping and move freely from isle to isle, picking out what I want without having to depend on the kindness of a stranger to tell me what and where everything is.. ...
Finally, I'd like the chance to lay eyes on my best friend for the first time, the man I fell in love with and who has been my biggest supporter.
