Complete the Puzzle is a fabulous local organization that provides all types of wonderful programming for children and young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. They are located in Portsmouth, VA and work to "advocate, build acceptance, support parents and build a kinder more inclusive world." Charlie has participated in their adaptive art classes for years as well as an adaptive cooking class. They also have many opportunities for adaptive sports. These activities are all often free to the families or at a very minimal cost. It has been wonderful for Charlie because they are able to provide him with the 1:1 support he needs to safely participate. Timiko Blackman Winn is their founder and executive director and holds a Master's Degree in Education. She has been a wonderful support to Charlie and our family and is one of the kindest people you will ever meet!
