Charlie's Angels

Earlier this year, Charlie started showing signs of illness and was taken to multiple doctor appointments before the last ER visit discovered what was causing him to feel sick. Charlie was admitted to Riley Children's Hospital on Sunday, March 25th where an MRI confirmed a large cancerous brain tumor that had spread to his spine. On Tuesday, March 27th, Charlie underwent a long brain surgery. His surgeon was pleased with the outcome, as all of the largest tumor was removed. Following the removal of the primary tumor, Charlie began aggressive chemotherapy treatment. That treatment is ongoing. The Lanes are blessed to be in the right place as the medical staff at Riley are taking excellent care of sweet Charlie. The journey is long, and a difficult road still lies ahead for their family. Charlie's courage, strength, and bravery continue to amaze us and make us so proud. The outpouring of love from family, friends, and our amazing community has allowed the Lanes to focus on Charlie and be by his side throughout this journey. They remain so very grateful for all the support.
