About this campaign
There are two main purposes: (1) raise awareness and (2) help to bring a smile to the faces of children in treatment for cancer.
These shirts will help serve both of those purposes and hope that you consider purchasing one to help out.
Additional information about the program can be found on the Facebook page CURE Bears for Hope and Love http://tinyurl.com/CUREbearsforhopeandlove
Support for children that are going through treatment for cancer involves several different aspects:
1. Sending bears purchased at Build A Bear Workshop to children within the continental United States that are undergoing treatment for cancer
2. Sending the My Life Survivor dolls (18 inch "American Girl" type doll) to children in treatment for cancer and limited delivery of these dolls to hospitals for distribution to children with cancer.
3. Sending Barbie Fashionista no-hair dolls to children in treatment for cancer along with delivering to hospitals.
4. Holiday toys to benefit C.U.R.E. Childhood Cancer Association in Rochester New York that serves families that have a child with cancer or blood disorders.
5. Back to school supplies to benefit C.U.R.E. Childhood Cancer Association in Rochester New York that serves families that have a child with cancer or blood disorders.
CURE Bears for Hope and Love has been bringing smiles to children with cancer since 2013 and the program has some aspects that reach children throughout the United States and some aspects are more local to support children in Rochester New York
