Choose Love

Christina was my teammate on Team Adam and roommate for a spell on season 6 of NBC's The Voice. She had an incredibly huge heart. She strove to be the best friend, sister, daughter, and performer that she could possibly be. I even got to watch her grow and learn along the way. She was a tiny little girl with a giant heart of gold. One of my favorite memories was that she was the goofiest gal on our season always photobombing, sticking her tongue out and making faces. She was always eager to make everyone laugh and just as eager to sing her heart out when she got down to business. She is one of the best singers I've ever met and worked with. That alone changed my life and inspired me to work harder in my craft. The best thing I ever learned from Christina was to stay driven every single day. Do it for your fans. Connect with them and never forget they are the ones that are most important in this business. She was truly a shining light and one of the most intelligent women I've ever met. Christina's faith was rock solid. She was very comfortable in her faith and encouraged others to be the same. I know in my heart that Christina would want each and every single one of us to keep doing what we were born to do just as she did, and overcome this tragedy together. I know that I will continue to encourage kindness and compassion in her honor. I will forever think of her is my little "Elvin Princess from the forest". She truly was a rare talent and gone way too soon. Forever in my heart. We need to help end violence. Choose Love.
