CMV is more common and more unheard of than e Zika virus and has been around since the 50s. You most commonly get it from eating and drinking after little kids, it's something that they don't tell people about until something is already wrong..depending on when you get it in the pregnancis what it affects and I got the "bad luck" as the NICU doctors said of getting it around the time Maddens brain was developing and it caused Maddens brain not to develop correctly. So from that he has cerebral palsy, 4 forms of seizures, is vion impaired, has 70% bilateral hearing loss, has microcephaly (small brain), lissencephaly (smooth brain), is gjtube dependent, has had one stroke that caused him to start having these awful things called autonomic storms (basically a shock to your nervous system that can cause high blood pressure, cerebral hemorrhaging, cardiac arrest, and more), and is severely developmentally delayed! It's something you wouldn't even realize you have they say it can feel like you just have a cold or are extra tired which everyone is while pregnant. I just want people to know about it in hopes that we can lower the number of children born with CMV so nobody else has to go through what Madden does!
