About this campaign
On Wednesday, February 28, 2024 Coach Patty was doing what she loves - coaching our 15U High Performance tennis players at Blossom Hill Park.
Before any of us knew what happened, Patty went into cardiac arrest. Thanks to the quick thinking of a few of her students and two of our staff coaches who initiated lifesaving CPR, an incredible EMT crew and the "Dream Team" in the Emergency and ICU at Good Samaratin Hospital in San Jose, Coach Patty not only survived close to 20 minutes of CPR and 6 days in ICU, but she is already back home healing and on her way to thriving!
Truly a living example of Love the Battle!
Her ICU medical team claimed her as their "Miracle Baby!" While Patty is beyond grateful to be alive, the events from that day have come at a substantial financial cost. Money raised from this fundraiser will help absorb the over $20K in medical and ongoing recovery and care costs that are not covered by her medical insurance.
