About our designer: LCDR Charlotte E. J. Pittman

In honor of the t-shirt's US Military origins, and the 100th birthday of the t-shirt, CustomInk is hosting a series of monthly t-shirt fundraisers for each branch of the United States Armed Forces. This month's branch is the US Coast Guard.

CustomInk will donate 100% of our profit (at least $10 per shirt) to benefit the Yellow Ribbon Fund, which supports recovering veterans and their families at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

This premium American Apparel shirt is made in the USA and is available in Youth, Ladies and Unisex sizes. Sizing Tip: Style runs small, you may want to consider sizing up. Ladies, please note the girly fit.

LCDR Pittman is an MH-60T helicopter pilot currently stationed in San Diego, CA flying Law Enforcement and Search and Rescue missions. She graduated from SUNY Maritime College and entered the Coast Guard as a Direct Commission Merchant Marine officer. LCDR Pittman has been stationed in New York, Washington DC, Florida, and Alaska. She earned a Masters degree from the University of Pennsylvania and served in the Coast Guard's Office of Leadership and Professional Development prior to her current assignment. When not flying, LCDR Pittman enjoys a variety of outdoor activities and dabbling in graphic design. 1

About The Yellow Ribbon Fund

The military provides world-class care while injured service members are in the hospital. But sometimes gaps open up between the support the military can provide, and the support the injured and their families need.

The Yellow Ribbon Fund helps bridge the gaps while they’re recovering in the Washington, DC, area at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and Fort Belvoir Community Hospital.

Even after they return to their hometowns, YRF continues to help.

The Yellow Ribbon Fund has not-for-profit status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
