About this campaign
This is our first of what will become a yearly fundraiser for a volunteer fire department in Columbia County, NY. All money from this fundraiser will be donated directly to one fire department that will be picked at a later date. Our plan is to do this fundraiser every year until every fire department in Columbia County has recieved a donation.

In memory of Don Hilton Mellenville Fire co. He died of a heart attack when he was helping his neighbor fight a fire during an arson spree in Copake. My husband misses him dearly.
I have 2 Columbia County volunteer fire fighters in my home, husband and son. I commend them and all the fire fighters for what they do! Takes a special person to do what they do. While everyone is running out, they all are running in.
My son is a chief of one of the Columbia County departments.
