City of Refuge T-Shirt Fundraiser

City of Refuge is a non-profit, Christian community located in downtown San Diego. We have been serving low-income families and individuals for 18 years. We distribute nearly 70,000 pounds of food a month to hungry San Diegans. We host weekly youth nights for the neighborhood kids and teenagers, which has led to lasting relationships. When school is out for the summer, we are able to offer an all-day free summer camp. Daily, we use our own porches as distribution centers of necessary items such as clothing, hygiene products and diapers. Every week, we visit with those who live on the streets of Downtown. Because of these weekly visits various folks who were homeless have come to live and work in our community.

From distributing food to offering free childcare, our inspiration is to create real and lasting relationships with our neighbors and community. Our hope is by meeting physical needs and by being a place of refuge and friendship they will come to know the love of Jesus.
