This year, I've decided to start this digital music festival called Couchella. It's inspired by something I used to love called "Couch by Couchwest". This is a digital music festival where you can watch all of the acts at your own pace from the comfort of your couch (or bed)! This event is also inspired by Bedstock. Bedstock is a digital music festival by My Music Rx and Joy Rx (Associated with Children's Cancer Association) with the same cool benefits, while also raising awareness and funds for bedridden kids. Their funds help bring musical experiences and music lessons to bedridden children. (you can read more about them at their website. So, what's this fundraiser for, right?Well, every Couchella performance will have a link to this fundraiser as a "digital donation jar" because we want to raise funds for My Music Rx to bring music to kids that need it.I think I can speak for every artist involved in Couchella when I say, we believe that music HEALS.
