Our Purpose
"As most of you know an unspeakable act occurred today at the Waukesha Holiday Parade, an annual event that should have been a joyful start to the holiday season. Many from our campus community participated in the parade including our marching band, color guard, Pio Pete, and a campus shuttle driver who was driving the Carroll float. Additionally, countless Carroll employees were there with their families to enjoy this annual tradition. As of now we are unaware of any students or employees who suffered serious physical injuries during this tragic incident. However, many suffered trauma of witnessing the tragedy. Like you, I am deeply saddened to learn there are casualties and many others who suffered serious injuries. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by this senseless horrific event. What was meant to be a festive family occasion turned into an event that has now changed families and lives forever. " - President Gnadinger.

As more information came out in the days after this tragedy, the BBBS executive board found out that one of our 'Littles' was severely injured while dancing in the parade. We want to fundraise to help our 'Little' affected by donating proceeds to her family's GoFundMe AND to the Waukesha Community Fund. We understand how hard this is for everyone and hope that our students, staff, alumni, and community members can come together to help Waukesha and our BBBS 'Little' in this time of need.
